i went to a dharma sharing yesterday
it talked about happiness and ten good deeds
there are 4 kinds of happiness
2 outer 2 inner
1st is happiness when we fulfill our sense
seeing nice pictures,
eating delicious foods,
smelling somethings nice,
hearing beautiful voice,
touching somethings,
lastly is thinking,
6 senses (5 outer 1 inner)
2nd is happy when we do somethings good
which are avoid from evil
when we do charity,
when we help someone who in trouble,
when we encourage people,
anythings that beneafit others.
3rd is the body already not a burden,
feel free from the body
and enjoy the peacful moment
like meditation.
4th is the wisdom
get the highest wisdom
knowing all the things
and ten good deeds are
1)Do not kill 不殺生
2)Do not steal 不偷盜
3)Do not indulge in sexual misconduct 不邪淫
4)No lying 不妄語
5)No double-tongued speech 不兩舌
6)No abusive speech 不惡口
7)No irresponsible speech 不綺語
8)No greed 不貪慾
9)No hatred 不嗔恚
10)No delusion 不邪見
1--mean do not kill any living include bugs, animals, humans etc
不論胎卵濕化，大小貴賤，無不愛惜自己的生命，殺則奪其生命，仁者所不為
2--mean do not take anythings that not belong to you
凡非吾人所有，一針一草悉皆莫取；若不與而取，或以不正當手段獲得，即是偷盜
3--for those at home,beside normal husband wife sex life other is sexual misconduct
若在家眾，除了夫婦關係以外之性行為，即為邪淫
4--mean always tell the truth the real things, do not lie
言而有信，說真實語，不說虛誑語
5--not talk about other right and wrong, make the relationship get worse
挑撥離間、說他人是非的行為，就是兩舌
6--do not make joke of other which will hurt other, spread rumours,words that makes people think aside.
專講繪淫繪盜之語，使人心生淫念，或是戲論、取笑他人等散亂無益之語，皆是綺語
7--do not scold. saying rude language.
凡口出惡語穢言，或罵人，或罵風咒雨、怒罵畜牲等惡言，皆屬惡口
8--do not greed.
貪即貪著五欲，迷戀不捨。不貪，即心不生貪戀、執著
9--do not hatred.
瞋是不順己意，便生怨恨。不瞋，即心無怨懟，平靜安詳
10--do not idiotic.
癡是迷惑顛倒，不知道三世因果的道理、不知道人人都有佛性、不知道緣起性空，即是癡
